Hui Ka YanMr.Hui Ka Yan, born in 1958 in Henan Province, has been acting as Evergrande Real Estate Group Limited ’s chairman since 1996, in charge of formulating Evergrande Real Estate Group Limited ’s overall development strategies. Dr Hui graduated from Wuhan University of Science and Technology and majored in metallurgy in 1982. He obtained an honorary PhD. degree awarded by University of West Alabama in 2008. He has been a management professor of Wuhan University of Science and Technology since 2003. Dr Hui has over 26 years of experience in real estate investment, real estate development and enterprise management. He is currently a member of 11th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and the vice president of China Enterprise Confederation, China Entrepreneur Association and China Real Estate Association. He also had the honor of National Model Worker awarded by the State Department.
